With all your kind support, Zoe was able to attend Poland as planned.
Zoe worked very very hard and did intensive therapy 6 hours and day six days a week.
Before the journey, Zoe was unable to sit confidently independently, she can now do this, she was only able to use her walker in a limited capacity, she now walks confidently with it and a lot of the support has been taken off, Zoe used to use aids for personal care but uses the toilet with limited assistance to sitting.
All this has been acheived by you supporting Zoe and believing in her, for this we thank you so much.
We apologise for the delay in updating this website (due to technical difficulties).
It is nearly a year on and Zoe is doing really well, she has maintained her skills and continues to work very hard. We have recently obtained some funding for Zoe to do a therapy that worked very well in Poland, FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation). We look forward to the therapy. This will help with Zoes movement of her upper limbs and take some of the restriction away
We will keep you posted and thank you once again for your valued support.
